Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C). Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with fundraising and events. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Supporting your child at our school
Parents can play a vital role in supporting their children’s success at high school by:
- Maintaining open communication: Encourage regular conversations about school life, subjects, homework, and friendships to stay informed and involved.
- Establishing routines: Help set up consistent study schedules and bedtime routines to promote good time management and healthy habits.
- Providing a supportive learning environment: Create a quiet, well-lit space at home for studying and completing homework.
- Encouraging independence and responsibility: Support children in managing their own assignments, deadlines, and school commitments while being available to assist when needed.
- Attending school events and meetings: Participate in parent-teacher interviews, school tours, and information sessions to stay connected with teachers and school activities.
- Promoting a balanced lifestyle: Encourage involvement in extracurricular activities, sports, and social events to support well-rounded development.
- Monitoring wellbeing: Be attentive to signs of stress or anxiety and communicate with school counsellors or support services if necessary.
By working together with the school, parents can help their children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally during their high school years.
