Technology and Digital Learning
At Toormina High School, technology is an integral part of teaching and learning, equipping students with the digital skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. With access to at least one laptop for every two students, technology is readily available across all Key Learning Areas, ensuring every student has regular access to the digital tools and resources that support learning.
Technology is used to enhance creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking while providing access to a wide range of online learning platforms and educational resources. Students are encouraged to use digital technologies safely, responsibly, and respectfully, developing the skills and confidence required for success in school and beyond.
By providing equitable access to technology and fostering responsible digital citizenship, Toormina High School empowers students to become confident, capable, and ethical learners who are well prepared for further education, employment, and the opportunities of the future.
