An information evening has been organised for all parents and carers about the requirements for completing Year 11. It is also to inform parents and students about the support available to students at Toormina High School. This information night is not just for students studying for an ATAR, it is for all students.
Where: Toormina High School Library
When: Tuesday 2 March 2021
Time: 5:30 – 7:00pm
Topics to be covered include:
· Assessment and examination schedule
· Managing major projects
· What is an Non-Completion (N) warning?
· How and when to apply for a misadventure or illness
· The role of the Year Adviser in supporting students
· Why regular attendance is critical to student success?
· School to work and careers support
Parents/Carers will also have the opportunity to ask questions about any of the information you may be unclear about.
